Some politicians in Nigeria have turned themselves to comedians or maybe the fight against their corrupt actives have made them so, Suspects now come to court on wheelchair and stretcher because they could no longer stand, sit or walk by themselves due to illness which we don't know if it's real or fake.
My opinion is that they put that act up to delay justice and at the same time make Nigerians feel pity for them forgetting how many people they have hurt so badly like in the case of ex-chairman of the defunct Presidential Task Force on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina who fled the country in 2015 after being indicted for allegedly perpetrating fraud to the tune of N2bn, returned to the country and was arrested, came to court on a wheel chair.
Most of those pensioners whose money he had allegedly stolen are bedridden and cannot even afford a while chair, alot had dead, likewise Diazani Madueke and many more of them.
The law must take its stands no matter how sick they pretend to be.
